What To Look For In Refrigerators
A refrigerator is the most common household appliance that you will find in a persons home. In one year there are around ten million brand new refrigerators that are sold with different manufactures earning these profits. Because refrigerators are very useful at storing and keeping foods at colder temperatures, they slow down the growth of harmful bacteria and fungus that can ruin your food.
The first refrigerator that was viable for home use was invented in 1927 and called the Monitor-top. It was almost an instant success and sold over a million units. Since that time, many companies have worked to make bigger and better models in the hope of cornering the market on refrigerator sales. Thus far no one company has been able to gain the upper hand when it comes to refrigerator sales. Perhaps because there are so many different manufacturers out there each with their own brand and their own customer following. Some of these refrigerator manufacturing companies are fairly new to the scene while some have been making and improving their refrigerators almost from the beginning.
The Bosch refrigerator company has actually been around since the beginning of all this. Their first Bosch Fridge was put on display in the year 1933 and have continuously made quality refrigerators since that time bearing their on brand name.
The Bosch company does not only make quality Bosch Fridge Freezer but other products as well and actually do not produce as many refrigerators as other companies. It may be a tad more difficult to find a Bosch refrigerator than other brand names and are sold from mid level to high level prices.
While most users agree that Bosch refrigerators are well designed and made to last the Bosch Fridge Freezer is not considered one of the most popular brands nor is it a house hold name when it comes to refrigeration. However, the Bosch Linea line of refrigerators is among the top ten brands of refrigerators for overall quality and customer satisfaction and all of their refrigerators have met energy star guidelines meaning they are energy efficient. While there have been some complaints about specific Bosch refrigerators these complaints seem to be minimal. However, they are not designed for those who have a limited house hold budget.
Just as various manufacturers of today build and improve their refrigerators based on the knowledge developed by other manufacturers so too did those early inventors and manufacturers of the original home refrigerator. While no one seems to agree on whose original idea eventually lead to the appliance we have now come to depend on everyone seems to agree that it took the minds and talents of many different people from around the world to create the modern day system of refrigeration. Thanks to those peoples talents and skill we no longer have to chop ice from lakes and rivers during the winter and store it in ice houses for summer use. Instead we simply walk into an appliance store, choose a style, brand and model of refrigerator we like and from there we can keep our food cool year round with little or no effort on our part thanks to today’s many different manufacturers of refrigerators.
